The Frank Brooks Family Fund

Please help.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help Frank Brooks and his family.

Frank was recently diagnosed with liver and kidney failure. After recieving critical care at Advocate Good Samaritan's ICU in Downers Grove, the doctors informed his family that the dialysis and other treatments were not working and now Frank will enter hospice care.

All funds raised will be used to pay off his final expenses. Given the urgency of the matter, your help is needed as soon as possible!

Watching him go through this illness has been the worst thing that his family have ever gone through, especially his four children.

Anything anyone can do is greatly appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Frank grew up in the Gage Park neighborhood where he graduated from St. Rita of Cascia Grammar School in 1976. He was a 1980 graduate of Brother Rice High School and an All-State Water Polo player with a full scholarship to Loyola University.

Frank met his wife, Tina Neubauer, in 1980 and they were married in 1984. They have four children, Meghan is 27, Matthew is 25, Kristin is 22, and Amanda is 21. Frank is also a grandfather to Matthew's and his girlfriend Payton Gill's son Oliver, who is six weeks old.

Both of Frank's parents, John and Patricia Brooks, are deceased. He has three sister's and a brother, Ann Creedon; Cynthia Meehan, Brian Brooks, Karen Brooks.

He was a union employee for 30 years with Local 399. He had many positions within his tenure at 399 and the last five he worked at the Chicago Tribune.

He is also an avid sports fan. He loves the White Sox, Bears, Blackhawks and Notre Dame.

Everyone has been asking what can they do or how can they help…well here it is. Please donate whatever you can to help Frank's family through this difficult time.

We kindly ask for your help in Frank's time of need. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
