Urgent Support for My Family in Gaza

 My name is Helal warshagha. I was born and raised in Gaza with six siblings. I graduated from the Faculty of Law at Al-Azhar University in Gaza, and four months before the war, I arrived in New York to pursue my master’s degree in law.

However, I haven’t actually started due to the immense challenges my family is facing in Gaza. I’m also doing my best to be ready to join the next semester in 2025. The difficulty of focusing and the high tuition fees are the only barriers so far, while my heart remains with my family, who faces daily danger in Gaza. My family is spread between the north and south of Gaza, and we have lost more than 50 of my cousins in this brutal conflict. All of them were civilians, including many children and women who had no role in the conflict other than being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
