I lost my foot to a diabetic ulcer which got infected, and I need help covering expenses while I recover. 

The foot came off on Halloween 2014 and as of April I am still getting medical attention from complications. I am holed up in a extended stay place across the street from the VA hospital where I get treatment, in the small town of Temple, TX.  They don't have a VA hospital in Austin.

I don't know many people here and have no transportation so I am pretty isolated. My car is in Austin with my stuff at a friend's place.

I moved to Texas in September for a job, and in October lost my foot, my job and my place of living. Since then I've had to live in motels and the hospital until I can get a place that's wheel chair accessible. 

I haven't been able to work because there are no jobs for me here and I can't get around as it is, with no transportation to go to interviews. I am also seeing nurses three times a week to get my wound taken care of and doctors as well. I want to get a prosthetic foot so I can walk again but that won't be until my stump heals which is months away.
