I'm running the 2016 NYC marathon for my mom, who is a breast cancer survivor. Anyone who has ever met my mom knows she's a beauitful, hilarious, hard-working heroine. Her childhood nickname was "Bola de fuego" for good reason. The prospect of losing her and that fire during high school was hard to handle. Despite dealing with chemo, my mom always stayed on the brightside.

I'm running the NYC marathon raising $3000 for breast cancer research through the charity Think Pink Rocks.

I started this campaign on Mother's Day, just to say that I love you and I'll be running for you.
