My dear friend , some of you will know , is currently facing one of life's greatest challenges - recovering from a life saving heart transplant. While in the main surgery was a success, the road to recovery is going to be long and complex. As many of you know , this kind of healing doesn't happen in a day. It takes months of specialist care, constant monitoring, and being in hospital far away from home - which means her family must stay close for an extended period.

This is where I need your help.

While the NHS covers the medical care , the cost of accommodation, food, transport, and everyday living for the family during this time is not covered - and it's adding up fast. It's a huge weight for any family to carry while already coping with the emotional and physical toll of recovery.
