Parish Walk in memory of Callum Moore
On May 4th, 2024, we experienced an unimaginable loss with the passing of our best friend, Callum Moore, due to an unfortunate accident that claimed his life far too soon. Callum's vibrant spirit and infectious laughter touched all who knew him, making his absence profoundly felt in our lives. In the chaotic moments following the accident, The Great North Air Ambulance Service played a critical role in transporting him to the UK for urgent surgery, offering a glimmer of hope amidst the heartache. Despite their tireless efforts and the skilled hands of the medical team, we mourn the loss of a beloved friend, cherishing the memories we created together and honoring his legacy, which will forever shine in our hearts.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) has recently faced significant challenges due to a lack of funding from Manx Care, leading to the expiration of its contract in March 2025. This development represents a substantial loss to the Isle of Man, where the air ambulance service plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, particularly in emergencies where timely medical transportation can be a matter of life and death. As the island braces for this transition, it presents a pivotal opportunity for the community to rally together and raise funds to support this vital service.
Following this, myself, Sam Greasley, Darren Mcdonald, Stan Cooper, Bailey Ashton & Richie Ashton have all entered this years ManxTelecoms parish walk in commemoration of Callum under the team name "Team Callum Moore". With already many hours of training under our belts we are hoping to all complete the 85 mile route on June 21st 2025.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude in advance for your generous donations. Your kindness and support will make a significant difference and help us achieve our goals.
