On March 5th 2016, life stopped for many people, Andrew and Alexis were in a very tragic car accident and Alexis's life was taken way too soon. Andrew is still with us today, but not without a fight. At this time, Andrew is suffering with many health issues; his jaw is broken in 4 places, a broken nose, shattered humorous, 3 broken ribs, and a broken femur. He had a piece of glass in his eye that could cause long term problems with sight, a large cut on the right side of his head, and many other bumps and bruises to his face and torso.
Andy was placed in a medically induced coma upon arriving at Mercy Trauma Center in Janesville. Andrew was brought out of the coma yesterday and is making some major improvements; however, he still has a very long, tough journey ahead of him. Andrew will need mental, physical, and financial support; he won’t be able to work for a very long time and is going to have a lot of major expenses coming his way not to mention everything else he will be going through. His family will need to take off work for multiple different appointments and therapy. He will need a lot of expensive equipment and medical supplies to aid in his transition home.
Andrew will need to leave his apartment and move into his parent’s home, which will also need expensive modifications; i.e. wheelchair ramp.
I am asking all of you to donate what you can; even $5-10 dollars makes a difference and is much appreciated. Andy is not one to ask for help so I am taking the step for him, Andy needs us….please help make this tough road to recovery a little easier.
THANK YOU!
