Keeping Daphne's Memory Alive
Donation protected
Many of us have been wondering how we can support Greg & Charlotte through the devastating loss of their daughter, Daphne. Helping them raise the funds for a park bench in Daphne's name is one way we can support these two loving parents. Thanks for your help.
A message from Charotte & Greg:
Our daughter, Daphne Delia Veerman Ross, was born at 22 weeks 5 days on the 20th November 2019. Babies are not medically able to live outside the womb until 24 weeks.
Daphne died in our arms shortly after her birth. She was surrounded by love and warmth from beginning until unfortunate end. Though her life was short, we let her know that she is so loved and her memory will continue.
Instead of a funeral, we want to honour our daughter's memory with a bench at her brother's favourite park, Leslie Park. We want Calton to grow up and remember that he became a brother on the 20th November.
We want her time with us to be remembered positively, so we thought a bench would be a way for Calton, us, and everyone to celebrate her memory.
Though she was taken from us far too early, Daphne will always be loved and remembered.
