GFR has a special spot in my heart & memories, as I'm sure is true for countless former and current Geneseo students. Freshman year, a meal with new friends. Bringing family and siblings for parents weekend. Lunch with friends from home when they finally make it out to visit. A quick dinner before the hockey game. Breakfast after a night out with friends. One last frittata on my way out of town.
The owners and employees of GFR are hardworking and kind. There was never a weekend without a line stretching to the door, and there was never a time I was served without a smile. GFR is a place that you felt comfortable and were sure to be welcomed.
It's heartbreaking to hear of the struggles that this piece of Geneseo has endured in the past year. The owners and employees deserve financial security, stability, and hope... however that might come to be. Your generous donation will help to support Teddy & his employees as they search for other sources of income.
