Help Me Get Back On My Feet

Hi, to those of you who don't know me my name is Christian. This year has been, as it has for so many others, quite a struggle. In April this year I suffered a severe ankle fracture, specifically a chip fracture of the lateral malleolus. On top of the fracture, further damage included multiple torn ligaments and bone bruises. After multiple rounds of doctor visits, MRI's, and months of recovery I felt as though I was getting back to my former strength. Unfortunately, my strength was not where I thought it was. A few days after a seemingly insignificant role of my ankle I once again went to the ER after developing severe lower leg pain. After x-rays and further examination it was revealed that I had refractured the same bone in my ankle. The biggest challenge now is that I no longer have health insurance. I lost my previous coverage along with my previous job and due to personal reasons cannot join my parent's healthcare plan. Despite my previous coverage I am still behind on outstanding balances for all care I received for the first injury and despite working two jobs I am not in a position to be able to afford any of the plans I am eligible for nor can I afford needed visits for proper care. On top of mounting medical bills for basic care I fear that I will require surgery this time around. During my last round of doctor visits I was told that surgery may be needed in the future depending on how well I recover and now after reinjuring the same bone, surgery is most likely inevitable. That is why I am asking for $5,0000. After tallying my current outstanding balances and what I have already paid, the total for the last injury comes out to $2,679.08 with coverage. Without healthcare I am expecting at least double before surgery even becomes part of the discussion. I am usually not one to ask for help or put me needs out there but now I am not sure where to turn. I am only asking for your hand to help me get back on my feet, literally, so that I can continue to live my life and be in a position to give back when it is asked of me.
