Healing for Hailee

Hello,
Id like to introduce you all to 16 year old Hailee Patnesky. On Sat Jan 9th around 5:30pm, Hailee and her younger sister and sisters friend, were walking back to their new home a few blocks from the market they just visited. During the walk home Hailee was struck down by a vehicle. Witnessed by her younger sister and her friend, she was thrown several feet into the air landing unconscious and bleeding from her head. Hailee was immediately rushed to the hospital where doctors have determined she suffered severe head and brain trauma.... Hailee has skull fractures, skull seperation, brain bleeding and swelling. Doctors have been fighting as hard as possible and doing everything they can to save her life. Since the accident Hailee has been in intensive care in a doctor induced coma and on life support.
The battle she is fighting is a life altering one for her and her family. As one can imagine, no parent should ever have to see their child like this. Doctors have only said Hailee's fight is hour by hour, day by day with no gaurantee.
Hailee and her loving family need our love, prayers and generous support as the road to recovery is going to be lengthy and very expensive. We are raising funds to help Hailee and her family with expenses related to her recovery and future care. Although money does not "fix" Hailee, the more we give, maybe her family can have one less worry on their mind, giving them more time and attention for Hailee directly.
Hailee is your typical, happy, fun loving teenager who carried a job at Dairy queen, was never in any sort of trouble, loves music and is a wonderful sister, daughter, granddaughter, niece, Aunt and friend to many. We do not always understand why these things happen, especially to the innocent but as a community we can step up and show our support to her and her family. We know times are tough and many are having a financially tough time but if we all just send a few dollars it will add up and will help this girl and her family. So again we ask first that everyone keeps prayers going for Hailee and then please, donate what you can to help ease the financial burden the family is certainly facing during Hailee's recovery.
