A father gone too soon

Hello and thank you for stopping in.

It is with a heavy heart that I put together this fundraiser in light of the recent and unexpected passing of my lifelong friend George Thomas.

The main reason for this fundraiser is that Georgie left behind more than just lifelong friends.

He also left behind an amazing 15-year-old son.

George was a caring father, one who was loving and always very involved.

It was admirable to see the way he interacted with his son.

To say George was a proud dad would be an understatement!

George wasn't only a great father. He was a big-hearted, soft souled man. One who a stranger could burden their sorrows upon. He would actively listen, engage, converse and offer advice for many of life's challenges.

He was a strong-willed man with the courage to overcome any obstacle.

No matter what life threw at him, he fought his way through.

Georgie was determined to live and succeed.

To love and to laugh.

To bring smiles to empty faces and most of all to be there for ones in need.

More times than I can remember has George been there for me and I know for many others too, so today I am asking that we are there for him. for his son.
