Support Chad’s Heart Recovery & Path Back to the Shop

Recently, Chad began experiencing alarming symptoms—extreme fatigue and difficulty breathing. What started as being "out of breath" quickly escalated to the point where taking even a few small steps became an exhausting struggle.

After being admitted to the hospital, Chad received a serious diagnosis: Atrial Fibrillation (Afib) and Heart Failure.

The Road to Recovery

To get his heart back into a healthy rhythm and manage his condition, Chad’s medical team has outlined a clear but challenging path:

• Immediate Care: He must remain on a strict regimen of multiple medications for at least the next four months to stabilize his heart.

• Future Procedure: Once stabilized, he will undergo a Pulsed Field Ablation, a specialized procedure designed to restore his heart's natural rhythm.

The Financial Hurdle

Chad is currently in a "perfect storm" of timing. He is unable to work while his heart heals, and his new health insurance does not kick in for another month or two.

• Medication Costs: His life-saving prescriptions cost upwards of $1,700 per month out-of-pocket.

• Living Expenses: Without the ability to be at the shop, the weight of medical bills and daily costs is becoming impossible to manage alone.
