On March 18, 2020, Herman Earl Reese Jr. and his family were hit with a life changing event. After suffering an aortic dissection (which has a less than 5% chance of survival rate), Herman barely pulled through but not without dire consequences. He was in the ICU for 31 days and is currently still in rehab for at least another 16 of the total 30 days. He will come out of this without use of his legs and will also need to have 70-100% of each of his fingers amputated. They will be replaced with prosthetics.
This is an incredibly challenging time and his family, especially his wife, will have to spend a significant amount of time at home caring for him. Any amount of donation would be greatly appreciated by the family. Thank you all for thoughts and prayers.
