This film is based on true events and it is a violent insight to the goings on in the British underworld. Conor Tate is a drug debt enforcer for a gangland boss in London and he is a man who shows no remorse or empathy for those who cross him but he is spiralling out of control. In this thrilling action packed drama you will witness his demise into a cocaine induced, dark, psychotic, depressive state of mind, which result in his life taking a horrifying turn of events!
Who am I?
My name is Sam Hardy and I am originally from Pembrokeshire, Wales, currently living in London. I moved here 2 years ago and I am a professional guitarist/up and coming actor. Any one who knows me will know that I have enjoyed some success in the last 2 years since becoming a solo Spanish guitarist. Releasing 4 solo albums, appearing on Gaby Roslins BBC Radio show 4 times, appeared on London TV Live and I have played at countless prestige venues including Silverstone Racecourse, Chiswick House and Mandarin Oriental, London, to name a few. However, acting has always been my biggest dream, so once I moved to London I began acting in roles for short films. I have also attended London Actors Workshop course in Covent Garden during 2015. Since then I have appeared in a few more short films and three episodes of a comedy web series.
After competing in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts and enjoying some success a few years ago, I have decided to take my fight skills to the big screen. I have a 'British Action Academy Warrior On Screen Combat Phase 2 Pass Certificate'. I will be looking to pass Phase 3 & 4 in 2016 to improve my combat skills for TV and film. It is a industry recognised qualification. The course instructor is Hollywood Stuntman Hall Of Famer, Andreas Petrides, known for his roles in over 500+ productions in TV/Movies such as Gladiator, James Bond, Star Wars, Saving Private Ryan, Braveheart, to name a few. The list is endless.
MY GOALS & DREAMS
After recently being signed by one of the UK's top acting agents for walk on artists and appearing in a few commercials, I feel that I am well on the way to becoming a well known actor and my dream is to be the next Tom Hardy or big action hero like Jason Statham. I have written the entire script for this short film and if you are a fan of Guy Ritchie films such as Lock stock & two smoking barrels, Snatch, Rock n Rolla then this film is for you.
My dream would be to make this a full length feature film. So this a great opportunity for those of you who would like to come on board a project that has a lot of potential.
Sponsorships will also be accepted for advertising clothing, a mention in the end credits or other products used in the film.
One of the reasons for making this movie is to help showcase my acting skillset and to fast track my career to the next level in the industry. I have footage from previous acting roles but I feel the footage does not show my full capabilities. So with your help I truly believe this film will get me the recognition I am looking for to take me into TV/Film roles.

I am extremely grateful to have such an amazing cast of talented actors/actresses working on this film. Two of them have been in popular TV shows, Eastenders and Holby City. So you can expect to see some fantastic performances in this film. However there is still plenty of room for YOU to be in the film as an extra, so come on board!!!
Nedal is an extremely talented cinematographer, so this film will be completed to the highest standard for your viewing pleasure.
What about the money?
Now as you all know the movie business is a very expensive one and as the saying goes "You get what you pay for." With that in mind in order to deliver a production of the highest quality, you have to pay for it. There is no way of getting around it. After speaking to the film crew and editor, we have worked out the cost for filming.
You might be thinking it would cost £100,000 or £50,000 but along with the cost of locations, transportation, food on set for the actors/crew, make-up artist, hiring of equipment, £5,000 is all we need to produce this film to an excellent standard. However if we did raise £50,000 or £100,000 then we would make the full length feature film which I have written.
So far I have invested my own money to get where I am today. So now I would you like you to come on board because together we can make a film that you would be proud to show your friends and family.

What is your ultimate goal?
Well the ultimate goal is to use the film to help fast track our acting careers, by having a film that showcases our ability. The opportunity will also be there to pitch 'OFF THE RAILS' to people in the industry, so I can potenitally follow this production up with a full length feature film version.
I also believe in giving back, so it is a chance for anyone to be part of a movie production and it will also help many unknown actors to progress their careers being able to use the footage on their showreels. This film is also giving the public a chance to get into the film industry at a low cost. It also provides the opportunity for everyone who contributes anything to the project, to play a key part in the production of the film. It is not everyday you have the opportunity to spend the price of few cups of coffee which helps to create a movie!!!
When can we expect to see it?
Each scene of the film is estimated to cost £500, so depending how fast we can raise the money it will be done in stages or in one big hit, if the target is made rapidly.
Once we have reached our target funding, filming will begin and the plan is to shoot the entire film over a 2-6 week period. So once editing is complete and the film is ready, a private screening will take place accompanied by an after party to celebrate. Invites will be sent out to those of you who believed in the project and contributed a specified amount in the rewards section. You will get to meet the entire cast and film crew. For the rest of you amazing people who also helped to make this dream a reality but cannot make it to the premier screening, you will be sent a private link so you can watch it in the comfort of your own homes.
