Give Our Family a Fighting Chance

This isn’t easy for me to write… but I’ve come to a place where I have to ask for help—not out of weakness, but out of hope. Over the past year and a half, my family has weathered a storm that seems never-ending. My wife was diagnosed with a mass pressing against her brain, forcing her to stop working and drastically shifting our lives. I’ve tried to carry everything—raising our kids, managing our home, and working through my own health issues—all while trying to keep our heads above water. But now, things have taken an even more difficult turn. My doctors recently diagnosed me with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)—a chronic autoimmune disease that causes widespread inflammation and threatens major organ function. Despite treatment, the disease is progressing. I’ve been told I could have 12 to 24 months left to live. It’s hard to process, let alone share, but it’s my reality. To make things even harder, the laptop I use to run my business and support my family has completely broken. It may not seem like much, but that laptop was my last thread—my lifeline to income and stability. We are behind on rent, behind on bills, and running on fumes. I am emotionally, physically, and financially drained. I never imagined being in this position, but here I am—reaching out with everything I have left in me.
