Hello. My name is Katrina and I would like to introduce you to the love of my life, Bella.

Bella is 10 years old and has never met a stranger. Because, from the moment you meet her, she will engage and befriend you until you leave with a smile on your face. Which can make even the darkest day seem brighter.

Bella loves to go on long walks and explore. Even through her joy, Bella finds ways to give back. She has participated in several charitable walks to help raise awareness and funds for animals in need.

After years of Bella initiating positive changes in the lives of others; she, now, finds herself in need of support.

Unfortunately, Bella has been diagnosed with Intervertebral Disk Disease-(IDVV) which affects her spinal cord and causes painful mobility issues. She has been on bed rest, several medications, laser treatments and acupuncture. Despite all of these treatments, Bella’s pain continues. Making it very difficult for her to stand and walk.

Without surgery, my veterinarian says, Bella could become completely paralyzed. And this would leave me without my inseparable partner in life.

After spending many productive years working for one company. Recently, I fell victim to my company’s economic downsizing. This has left me unable to afford the pet insurance that would have allowed me to cover Bella’s surgery.

My goal is to not only share pictures of Bella during her stages of recovery. But, also, after she is back at full strength. To be able to share pictures of Bella participating in and crossing the finish line for her NEXT charity walk in support of other animals in need.

So, to keep my close family member alive & well, I am enlisting the support of all of Bella’s friends. Both, known & unknown, alike. Because, as I mentioned earlier, she has never met anyone that remained a stranger.

All monies received will be for Bella’s surgery and recovery expenses. Please help Bella to continue living her best life so that she can help others live theirs. Bella and I thank you and we’re eternally grateful for your support.
