Battling Neuroendocrine Cancer One Day at a Time

As many of you may be aware, I was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer in June of 2022. My cancer is incurable, and my prognosis will never be ‘no evidence of disease” (NED). Being diagnosed with cancer is devastating, each day I must deal with the side effects from my treatments and procedures. I have good and bad days, unfortunately there is no warning sign of what each day has in store for me physically, mentally, or emotionally. My life has become one extremely long roller coaster ride… days, weeks and months consumed with doctor’s visits, scans, treatments, and lab work. Most often my limited daily routine is replaced with nausea, joint pain, and fatigue. For these reasons, I am no longer able to work and my savings is nearly depleted. I am putting aside my pride and asking for financial help to assist me with medical bills, prescriptions, and everyday living expenses. I appreciate all your kind words, prayers, and outreach thus far… and I pray every day that no one, especially those I love, will ever have to go through such a battle .
