If you know Diane, you've seen the above dance move more than a few times. It's called "The Langan Arm." Due to absolutely insane circumstances, the whole Langan body is going to be out of commission for a while, and Diane needs our help during her recovery.
Diane suffered a series of seizures that resulted in a brain bleed, several spinal fractures, and a shoulder fracture. She is currently in the hospital, and we're not sure when she'll be out. She'll be in a back brace for six weeks, and her doctors expect her recovery to take around six months. Right now she's confined to her bed, but physical therapy will get her back on her feet again.
During this time, Diane will be unable to work. I'm hoping that we, as her friends, can pitch in and get a couple of months of her rent and bills covered so she doesn't have to worry. Recovering from injuries of this caliber is a Herculean feat, and the last thing she should be concerned about is how she's going to cover her basic necessities. The more money we raise, the easier her convalescence will be. Let's help get our favorite mermaid back into the sea.
Thank you so much for helping our sweet, wonderful friend through this very difficult time.
