Jim " Cozy" Cozine is the Treasure Coast Lt at Arms and a 17 year veteran of the Fort Pierce Police Department. Cozy was recently diagnosed with cancer and underwent surgery today and will need to under go radiation and chemotherapy in the upcoming months. Cozy is married to Wendy "Shadow" Cozine and the father of two growing boys Kenny and Noah. Noah is a special needs child and Cozy is a very important part in Noah's everyday life. Cozy is very active with the Special Olympics and the Fort Pierce Police Athletic League. While undergoing his regiment Cozy will be out of work and a strain will be put on their family as he worked his share of overtime to provide.

Cozy has been a Defender for four years and is proud to wear the patches on his vest. In recent months we as a chapter have participated and come to the needs of others and it is now that we call on the Defender Nation to assist this Brother and Sister in need.
