Mom’s battle with cancer

Today was a day that started out as all others. Until my mom casually asked me if I wanted to look at her CT results she just printed this morning before I woke up. I began reading words-imaging concerning for carcinomatosis......

Moms cancer has returned and is present.

Apparently she had been dealing with symptoms but didn’t want to worry everyone because of other things going on.

When she saw the doctor, the doctor said she didn’t understand what the scans showed and would have to consult her colleagues. Mom requested a visit with a sarcoma specialist, (as her original diagnosis was adenosarcoma with sarcomatosis overgrowth). which we do not have in the area. No treatment is currently being offered because they don’t seem to know what they are dealing with.

Rare cancer.

For more than a year mom has been researching her type of cancer and has decided that she wants to do a form of treatment that will help her battle the cancer as well as treat her body as a whole. The only problem with the treatment is that it is not covered by our medical health system. So it is expensive and we have not been able to afford to send her...

The clinic is an alternative Clinic located in Germany.

For less than $20,000 Canadian, her airline costs as well as therapy will be covered.
