Get Up Stand Up

On September 28th 2014 richie was an innocent bystander who was shot in the neck Which resulted in severe spine injuries. He's now paralyzed from the neck down, unable to breath on his own. For the past 3 years he has undergone multipe surgeries to help with his eating, and talking. He has has physical and psychological therapy almost everyday, and has tried a variety of treatments to try and improve his condition. At this point, richie is in complete understanding that his condition will not change. Unfortunately he has been in more pain and has developed worsening symptoms as more time passes...  Richie has chosen to come off of his vent.. And will no longer be sustaining life treatment as of sept.26th. He's made this decision with a clear understanding of what will happen when he is off his breathing machine. Feel free to visit him, as these will be our lasting memories, with the understanding that Richie, and the immediate family ask that you do not bombard him with questioning his decision.
