5/26/22

As some of you heard, my parents Julie and Danny Acosta were in a car accident on their way home from bowling last night 5/25/22 . The car is totaled and my dad has shattered his humeral head in his shoulder; but got to be discharged in hopes it heals itself .

My mom on the other hand has not had it so easy, so far what we know is; her L4 vertebrae has burst , she has 3 broken ribs and her lungs are bruised . If you know my mom , she doesn’t let anything stop her and is already thinking about what she needs to get done and how she has to start work soon, but i know this will be a tough long recovery ahead of her and us ...

She has been waiting an MRI since this morning to figure out how bad the injury is , so we still are unsure how bad any of it is , these “facts” on her condition are based off of physical observation so far, as they are not doing anything in an urgent manner .. so we will update as the info comes .

I (their daughter, Olivia) have an 8 month old and will also be working while juggling taking care of my parents for the time being (with help from family of course); trying to afford monthly expenses will be a struggle for us and we would be overwhelmed with gratefulness and comfort if anyone could help put some of the controlable things at ease.
