On Tuesday, June 10th, I broke my foot in an accident while in rehearsal. The doctors say I will be unable to dance for at least 6 weeks. This is devastating as I am a freelance professional dancer in NYC and rely on income from dance performances and teaching dance classes to pay my rent and other basic expenses.
