Getting screwed by the state of Illinois

Hello, my name is Mike, and I am fundraising for myself to stay in my car rental. First, a little back story to set the mood. I was in a car accident on March 27th that totaled my less than a 1-year-old car; see picture. After a couple of days, I got a car rental from Enterprise, a very nice sedan at a reasonable rate. My insurance told me that since I had just refinanced, there would be a delay of 20 days to process my title. I called them today since it had been 25 days without any word from them and was told that they had indeed sent the title to the DMV which they received on the 18th. They then told me that it would take another 28 days, starting the 18th, to resolve everything with my insurance company. So I called the DMV and was told no, in fact, it wouldn't take 28 days; it would take 6-8 WEEKS... So I don't even know yet if my rental company will let me rent the car at a lower rate for another 60 F'ing days. Look, I have never done a GoFundMe before; like most old, white, grumpy males of my generation, I don't like to ask for help under most circumstances. I just can't afford another 60 days renting a car when that money could and should be used for a down payment. So if you can help, great; if not, I understand.
