For the past 3 years, Rose had worked to provide a safe and better future for herself & her 5 young sons.  After a brutal domestic abuse incident, Rose packed up her few belongings and her boys and the family moved from Alaska to New York. The boys are slowly adjusting to their new reality while Rose continues to work hard to provide for the family (Can you imagine balancing 5 boys, their schooling, making sure their emotional needs are met while in the midst of a pandemic?).

On November 9th due to her ex-husband’s irresponsibility and vindictiveness the family van was repossessed. In lieu of paying child support he was, according to court orders, to make the remaining payments on the van. He failed to hold up his agreement plain and simple.

Legal recourse options are difficult in this time of COVID and the ex’s unwillingness to provide for his children.

This GFM is to help Rose and the boys secure reliable transport and replace the car seats and winter outerwear that was in the van.
