On Monday the 9th of October Robbie (an L-plater) and his mother Maggi were driving home on Mona Vale Rd after Robbie's school leadership day (Robbie is vice-captain of NBCS), when a garbage truck crossed onto the wrong side of the road hitting their car and writing it off. Both Robbie and Maggi, who is the sole carer of her 2 children, were taken to hospital - Robbie with a compression fracture and Maggi with multiple neck, thoracic and lumbar fractures.

Their road to recovery will require many additional costs and unexpected expenses such as home support (eg cleaning), a replacement car, medical interventions, etc. Any donations will go to supporting Maggi to cover these costs and will be greatly appreciated.
