Hi, my name is Tia I am Payton's father fiance. As you all know we lost payton to her asthma. Payton was the most beautiful person inside and out. She had an infectious smile, and could change the mood of every room she walked into. She was the type of person who would not allow you to leave before saying I love you. Her and her junior high sweetheart and roommates (along with the roommates one year old son), have been livingroom together in a in a home which ultimately caused Payton's asthma to go into overdrive. We found out recently there was a mold issue, and was under the assumption the landlord had fixed it. Well the landlord just for lack of better terminology put a bandaid over the problem, and did so while they was all inside the home. Told them they would be okay. That same night Payton's lungs could not handle the mold spores floating around the home and started having breathing problems. Her boyfriend/ life partner got her into her car and tried to rush her to the emergency room. They did not make it, Payton lost her battle with her asthma before reaching the highway. We are all beyond devastated. Payton's funeral expenses are all paid for. I am starting this gofundme in hopes to be able to get the rest of them out of that place into a better one.
