Hi there! For those of you that don’t know me, my name is Ollie! I’m a (current) Washington state native, and for those that DO know me, know that I wouldn’t be making this letter unless I had no other choice.

As of October 18th, some things have happened with my housing situation that has resulted in my need for new housing, and after spending some time in Omaha and having quite literally the best time of my life while there, a change of scenery is much needed!

Pushing aside the cheesy advertisers speak, I need help. It is insanely expensive to live in this state with it being one of the top 10 most expensive states to live in, and I genuinely can’t find any place up here that I can afford (ive been looking, for awhile).

Therefore, ive decided to move! But this is an insane move with the only people out of state I know and trust enough to not screw me over housing wise (trauma yay!) and it will be expensive. Much more than i make in the span of 4 months here. But I don’t have four months. I have three and a half weeks till I need to be out. And not gonna sugar coat it, I’m terrified. While this isn’t my first time picking up my entire life, it’s definitely the first where I can’t see any other option but to go out of state to the nearest state I can think of where I actively know people, Nebraska.

Now to get to the main reason this message is being shared with you. I need help getting me to Nebraska. The cost of renting a U-Haul, gas, food, lodging (I REALLY don’t want to risk the wrong cop pulling up if I’m sleeping in the U-Haul) and U-Haul insurance, plus funds to help if the U-Haul breaks down, is just under 5 thousand dollars. I’m reaching out to ask for all y’all’s help, I know it’s super last minute and a stretch funds wise, but I genuinely need help getting halfway across the country.
