Over the last year I’ve been subjected to health issues I don’t wish on anyone. I was put under a medically induced coma followed by a life support machine called ECMO. A technology that provides temporary support for the heart and lungs when they are unable to function adequately. It acts as an artificial heart-lung machine, taking over the functions of these organs while the body recovers. This was followed by a long recovery relearning how to eat, talk and walk. Due to this my savings have been depleting quickly and having further complications derailed me even further. I cannot go back to my regular job just yet because of my physical limitations and need the money in the interim.
