To every passionate human being out there,
The Gynocide and assault on Gaza has tragically claimed thousands of lives, of which more than 60% are innocent children and women. Thousands more lie injured, awaiting urgent medical care. Compounding this dire situation, more than 100,000 individuals have found themselves displaced, fleeing the ruins of their homes and seeking refuge wherever possible, carrying with them only the most essential of their belongings.
Among those people is my family. 27 family members, along with their kids and their own families. My parents, 4 sisters with their families, kids and my brother and his family and kids.
My name is Zahra Saad, and now, more than ever, your support is crucial. With your help, I can get my family in Gaza out to a safer place and save their lives!
Our home in Gaza along with our neighborhood is destroyed. They have no place to go and have been moving from one place to another trying to stay alive. As of right now, they have fled south. They are living in a tent made out of plastic bags and torn clothes. No food, No water, kids are hungry and scared. It is something I do not wish on my worst enemy.
My younger sister just had a baby, born in a warzone, with no assistance or care. The situation there is unimaginable.
So I need your help. Any thing you can contribute will immensely help.
I reached my goal of $100,000. This will be enough to get my family out, it will take care of transportation to Egypt and their expenses along the way. Also plane tickets to bring them to Canada with the new program in place.
Now I'm trying to gather extra funds for food and expenses to help my family while they wait for the border to open. Food and regular supplies have trippled in price.
This is my Family:
- My parents, Samir and Gihan
- My sister Naheel and her husband Shereef
- My sister Samah, her husband Ramiz and 4 kids
- My sister Safaa, her husband Mohamed and 3 kids
- My sister Souhair, her husband Mohamed and 5 kids
- My brother Eid, his wife Aya and 7 kids
As you can see, that is 19 kids on the street, my whole family of 27 members are on the street. Living in the cold of night and fearing for their lives every second.
The details of the expenses are as follows for the 27 members of my family:
$7,000 is for each adult to cover crossing to Egypt. That includes all the proper documents and fees, for a total of $49,000
$1,500 for each member for the plane tickets to Canada, total of $40,500.
That comes to a total of $89,500. The rest of the money should cover the fees for Gofundme and their service.
