Getting Mel back to Adventuring With Floki

Hey there! I'm Riley, I've been very fortunate to share so many adventures, campfires, and memories with Mel and Floki. She has allowed me to stay at her home in North Conway countless times with no questions asked. She is one who never asks for help, and so here I am, asking for help for her.

Adventures With Floki and her owner Mel recently went through a traumatic incident where most of their hiking gear, toiletries, wallet, and supplies were stolen from their car while camping. Mel is an individual who works tirelessly at a local hospital as a Surgical Tech, taking care of her felines Floki and Tula, and her incredible children. This incident occurred the night before her birthday when she was planning on checking off a hike she had been training and planning to do for years, the Great Range Traverse in the Adirondacks in New York. While she was camping in Burlington, Vermont, her car was broken into, and everything from razors to her wallet, and hiking gear was stolen. Not only does the gear have a monetary value, but an immense amount of sentimental value. The pack that Mel uses, Mountain Hardwear Scrambler, has gone on many adventures with and without Floki. Other Items like a knife for her safety, her Garmin GPS device, and other safety devices were stolen.

These funds will help Mel be able to get her gear back, without having to worry about paying her bills. If you have been following Mel, you know that her journey both on and off the mountains has had peaks and valleys, and currently, she is stuck in a deep valley. Let's work as a community to help her get back on the tops of those peaks and ridgelines, so she can share the beauty of her story, life, and the mountains with others.
