Getting Lenore Carfora-Nye to Arkansas

Hey everyone so most people know that my mom suffered a massive stroke and brain bleed in August. She had emergency surgery and was in the hospital and then a rehab center since then leaving her husband Doug to take care of the house and bills which was extremely difficult with his health failing him as well. Ever since him and my mom have been together she was always the one to take care of the bills and keep the house hold together. She still is not able to do that anymore because she still isn’t fully recovered. 

She got to come home from the rehab center the day before thanksgiving and unfortunately on Tuesday Doug’s health got way worse and he had to go to the hospital. He was in the ICU since then with cirrhosis of the liver and he had a bad blood infection which caused him to be septic. My mom was able to go up there and visit him thanks to an amazing neighbor and nurses from the state that have been helping to take care of of my mom and the animals. Doug unfortunately passed away last night so now my mom is alone is Oregon. She is so devastated and she doesn’t know what to do from here and because of the stroke she still can’t fully process and handle emotions and what to do. Blake and I are trying to get up to Oregon and help my mom get everything taken care of up there. I plan on moving my mom here to be with us but with money so tight right now and my mom and Doug trying to make it on disability and social security it’s been extremely difficult to make arrangements with plane tickets being $400 a person to get there. We can’t drive back to Arkansas because it is a 30 hour drive and my mom won’t be able to be in a car for that long. Every little bit helps and we have been so thankful for everyone who has been a part of helping my mom and Doug. I just want to get her here so she can be with family in these tough times.
