After a bit of arm twisting, my uncle, Jon Gazarian, agreed to allow me to make a gofundme page for him. To say he is the type that would never ask for help would be an understatement, but sometimes we have to learn we can't take on the world by ourselves.
In June, Jon was hospitalized after feeling very weak, along with some other odd symptoms. His blood counts have been almost non existent since that time. He has been on total house arrest, affectionately dubbing himself "Quarantine Man" as he isn't even allowed to sleep in the same room as his wife, Shelly (who is a Saint, might I add.) After 2 months of perplexing his doctors, he has finally been diagnosed with Hairy Cell Leukemia. While treatable, he still has a long road ahead of him.
With all of this going on, Jon has already been unable to work for the last two months and doctors have told him he has at least another three months before he will be allowed to return to his spot behind the wheel of his 18 wheeler. While he hasn't asked for help, I know being out of work for 5 months will have a significant financial impact for Jon and Shelly and I'm hoping we can come together and help ease some of that burden for them.
