Getting Jason Porton back on the water!

This fundraiser is for the mounting Medical and Living expenses that Jason Porton is facing due to an unfortunate injury. Jason severely dislocated his right elbow and suffered severe trauma to the ligaments and tendons surrounding the joint. He is now facing months of costly physical therapy sessions and procedures. The time and location of this injury is especially devestating due to a previously scheduled full shoulder replacement surgery in which Jason was scheduled to undergo at the end of Red Snapper season, on August 3rd. Because of this injury, Jason will no longer be able to perform the requirements of his job as Captain and Mate at Hubbards Marina for the foreseeable future. Thus not being able to save the required monies that would allow him not to have worked during his planned recovery. On account of the latest injury sustained to his right arm and the unknown rehabilitation period, his previously scheduled shoulder replacement will now have to be postponed causing Jason to be out of work for an undeterminable time.

For all that have had the pleasure of meeting Jason, know that he has a passion for what he does for a living. As a Tampa Bay native, Jason enjoys bringing the joys of fishing to tourists and locals alike. He has been a Captain fishing our local waters for 15 years and has been working at Hubbards Marina for 4 years.
