As you know, my mum suddenly passed last week, a mere two weeks after my last trip back to the UK. As a family we had discussed that there was no expectation for me to return when the inevitable happened and I thought I was ok with that. But now that it has happened I desperately want to be with my dad and brother and to be there when mum is laid to rest.

Frequent trips back for myself and Lucy over the last 3 years have stretched my savings and paying for another ticket after having just returned is a stretch.
