Getting Hip Showing Care For Shocair
Donation protected
Hello, I'm Tony Spatafora and I would like to thank you for helping our good friend Debbie Shocair recover from an intensive hip replacement surgery. Several years ago Deb fell while mopping her kitchen floor. The fall resulted in a severe injury to her right hip though she has been in denial. After much nudging from colleagues and an increasingly awkward limp, she has relented and will receive a right total hip arthroplasty (full replacement) Feb 8, 2024 at Southern California Orthopedic Institute (SCOI).
Deb prefers to think of it as a Limp-ectomy although friends know she is Hip To Be Square.
Expected return to work in May Dr Jamie Hernandez, a specialist in knee and hip replacements, will be performing the surgery at SCOI in Van Nuys. Barring any difficulties, Deb is expected to be released into the wild the same day to begin recovery and physical therapy mostly from home.
The charming and talented chanteuse of the spirit world Ms Shocair appreciates all of the good will being sent her direction. Deb is a single mom and many call her a mother of a lady. She is a celebrated international hostess, a licensed bartending instructor,. Her brand, "The Whiskey Mistress" provides a bevy of bourbon and wealth of whiskey knowledge for seminars on and off premise. She sings poorly but looks forward to dancing this summer. Debbie is important to so many people and this GoFund me is an incredible return for her epic contributions in the hospitality industry.
All funds donated will go (100%) to Debbie Shocair to be used for her day to day expenses and unplanned events in her recovery. The goal is to have her back in hospitality mode, exonerated from hospital tone, welcoming guests and friends to her generous spirit. No one can replace The Whiskey Mistress in our lives but we hope Dr Hernandez successfully does his part.
Oh behalf of the patient patient, our limping biscuit Debbie Shocair, thank you for reading this fundraising request. Thank you for knowing Deb and getting her back to all of us with your care.
