Getting Grant Stokes back on his feet.

Donation protected
On Australia day 2019 my brother, Grant Stokes, was involved in a boating accident on the Swan River, Perth, Australia. Whilst on the river the boat somehow managed to hit a sandbank and got stuck. After a few failed attempts trying to move the boat(engine turned off) they finally managed to get it off the bank. Whilst still in the water, the engine started  and Grant tried to kick himself away from the boat but he was too close and thats when his foot hit the propeller.

Consequently, Grant sustained injuries to his right foot.  The injuries included; broken bone in his foot, cut through two tendons, burst blood vessels and some permanent nerve damage to his foot.

As a result of the accident, it will be between 3-6 months before he can return to work. Unfortunately, Grant did not have any  income protection and whilst waiting for his permanent residency to be approved, he is not eligible to claim any Centrelink. So for the next 3-6 months Grant and his Wife will be living off one income. I know this will financially be a very hard time for them both and I know from personal experience how hard it can be.

Grant has always been a hard worker but now finds himself in a position where he physically cannot earn money. So after wanting to help out and seeing so many of his friends and family asking how they can help, I thought this would be a great thing to do.
I am sure whatever you can donate will will be massively appreciated.
