Hi, my name is Jeanne and I am fundraising on behalf of my brother, Gabe, and his family.

A little over a year ago my beautiful niece, Emma, was diagnosed with Acinar cell carcinoma of the pancreas. It is very rear, aggressive, and completely sucks.

I have watched in awe as my baby brother become everything that his family needs. He is a doctor, nurse, therapist, cheerleader, coach, comedian, personal chef, hairdresser, technology professional, entertainment coordinator, teacher, best friend, and everything else you can imagine. And he has done all this with unmatched strength and grace.

Today as he was driving his family home the transmission went out on his car. This is the car that he takes Emma back and forth to Oakland for treatment in. This is the car that he uses to make memories for his children in. It is just one more thing that has been placed on his shoulders.

But unlike all the others this is something we can help with. Gabe is the kind of person who would give the shirt of his back to help someone out. He is always been so generous with his resources, time, and energy. But it goes against his nature to ask for help himself. That is why I am here. His family needs that car and that car needs a new transmission. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated.
