Hi my name is Dwight Davis,

I am a 58 year old Male and I live in Oakland California I am a Musician and a self employed Hair dresser. 6 years ago my health started crashing . My weight plummeted down to 170 from 235 in a matter of months. A mass was found on my Liver and Kidney coupled with symptoms such as constant uncontrollable urination, which led to complete dehydration which would cause temporary blindness , light headedness to the point of constant fainting, and restricted breathing. I went through a series of Hospital Dr.s only to get dismissed because my blood levels and other test numbers/results were so good/strong and I'm so physically fit. I would get "you look great" and they would send me off with nothing.

Then Covid hit , the Vaccines were really hard on my system and my health continued to decline. In March of 2022 it got real , I was constantly passing out and my systems were shutting down and not working right at all. I Went back in for testing and was only getting minimal care and basic testing, again from the corporate behemoth that is Kaiser. Still no specialist enlisted, still no diagnosis or treatment. This last hospital stay, after enlisting my Dr. clients from UCSF and my medical advocate, I was able to get more tests but still left with nothing but the bill. Which of course was ready before even a consult on the many tests given.

Covid also greatly affected my clientele , a mass exodus of people leaving California has depleted my clientele by 90%, my annual income was less then my annual insurance fee. We received absolutely no financial assistance in Covid other than the unemployment benefits that were given and I was forced to use my retirement savings to survive. All of it.

I am humbly asking for financial support in any amount you are able to consider as I make my way through this difficult time. This due to my inability to work for the next month while I try to get the diagnosis and medical assistance I require. In addition, I am forced to adopt a new slower pace for the time being in order to create a path to what I hope will be a full recovery. I appreciate and love all of you.
