Getting Dustin back on his FEET!

Hi! My name is Abbi and I am writing on behalf of a community of friends who love Dustin, Samantha, and Wyatt Johnson. Dustin is part of the very bedrock of our wonderful music Phamily, always a faithful fan, always waiting with a huge hug at every show we have attended together over the last five years, and we are talking HUNDREDS. He is always the first to offer help when any one of us is in need, coming to lend a hand or sneaking in some money towards a necessity, always seems to have the knowledge or the tool we need right on hand. If you are a friend of Dustin's...then you know - he always has your back. He always checks in to see how we are doing; He always keeps his people in his thoughts and prayers; he is always somewhere solid that we can stand.

As most of you know, Dustin was in a HORRIBLE 4 wheeler accident Wednesday night...... it took 4 hours just to get him out of the woods before they could begin tending to his multiple broken bones and other traumatic injuries. It is a long story, with twists and turns and ups and downs (I'll let Dustin tell it, because by some miracle he is still with us to tell this tale) The long story short of it is this.... this guy, this mountain of a man who holds us up when we have stumbled...it's time for us to have his back.

After over a week in the hospital, the bill is sure to be staggering. There will be considerable healing and physical therapy to get him back to speed, and like most of us, Dustin makes his money with the sweat of his brow and the strength in his back and does not have huge reserves around to juggle so much time off. He also has a list of needs right this minute to help him on the road to being able to work again.
