Thank you all for donating! Deo has received his camera back in July, but I just put this video together of the whole thing :)

Now I've closed the fundraiser, but I would like to do more things like this in the future.

UPDATE: I'm sorry the currency is stuck in Swedish Krona (SEK). It's not possible to change since that's where I'm making the fundraiser from. 30000 SEK = roughly 3000 USD just for reference.

My name is Robin Danehav, I'm a documentary filmmaker creating 100 films about impact makers all over the world. They are all free to watch on my Youtube.

On a recent mission to Uganda I got to know Deo Kuset, a local filmmaker who is super talented and wants to tell all the amazing stories about impact makers in Uganda.

The only problem is that filming gear is really hard to come by, and cost a fortune there.

So I decided to help.

This fundraiser's goal is to buy him a proper camera, some batteries, memory cards, a couple of microphones and a tripod. To get started.

These stories are so important to bring more perspectives on the world we see portrayed in the media every day. Stories of change. Stories of culture. That brings hope and inspiration.

And of course I will make a film about the results when it's done. With your name in it, if you donate.

Basic idea of how the funds will be used:

Camera (Sony A7iv): 15000 SEK

Allround lens: 5000 SEK

Batteries & memory cards: 5000 SEK

Microphones: 5000 SEK
