Thank you all for your prayers and concerns for my mom and family in lieu of recent events concerning her health/ prognosis. Momma came to California last Sunday to visit family, and had to be admitted to the hospital a few days into the trip due to oxygen issues. She is being discharged from the hospital today and needs to get back home to Louisville. She cannot be medically cleared to fly because of her oxygen issues- the doctors don’t think her lungs can handle it. She is also high risk of infection with COVID-19, and we are in the most highly concentrated county in the country.  Driving is our only option.

The family is all here, and we have decided to turn it into a road trip to get her back to Indiana starting Tuesday.  This will be memorable for all of us as time together is so limited and precious at this point. Mom wants to see the Grand Canyon! and other sites on the drive, and we will take it slow enough to allow her rest and recovery along the way. 

This will of course be expensive, and these  recent events have all been very unexpected . Many of you have asked how you can help us during this time- and that means so much.  Anything thats given helps take lighten the load, and we thank you for your prayers, your thoughts, and your love!
