My grandson, Brendon has suffered from migraine headaches for all of his life.
He has been through countless tests with 7 MRI’s just in the last 3 months. In December It was discovered that he suffers from chairi 1 malformation and also tethered cord. In February Brendon had spinal surgery to detach the tetherd cord but symptoms still persist and grow.
They are scheduled to visit Doctor Jeffrey Greenfield (who is a perdiatric neurosurgeon that specializes in Chiari Malformation) in NYC in May for a second opinion and hopefully get some clarity and guidance on he next steps to take.
The next surgery to help his Chiari is quite invasive ans not something they want to jump into without all the proper research and opinions.
They are not a family to ask for help but could use your help during this time along with many prayers for Brendon.
