Getting Boots treatment

Hello all,

I’ve decided to create a fundraiser in hopes of raising money to pay for treatment for our cat Boots, so she can receive the proper tests and treatment that she desperately needs. She’s only 3, my girlfriend and I rescued her right at the beginning of quarantine. She is our tiny girl, she loves to cuddle and talk and curl up beside us. She sleeps in bed with us every night, so the last few nights that she’s been sleeping under the bed showed us that something was wrong. She hasn’t had anything to eat or drink in days despite our methods and care, and has been throwing up constantly. We’ve exhausted all at-home options for treatment- the vets she’s seen recommend an abdominal ultrasound and potentially surgery for an obstruction. We’ve both tried signing up for pet care credits to no avail and sadly the bills are stacking. All of our savings have gone towards her visits the last two days- If it does come to surgery it will be something that is completely out of our reach financially. I’m not one to ask for outside help but I’m running out of options. All funds raised will go towards paying for her multiple vet visits (three so far) all medications, X-rays, blood work, ultrasounds, tests and potential surgery that she needs to recover. We don’t know the exact amount currently but between the last two days, just for the visits and tests we’re close to $1000 and if she requires surgery or overnight stays it will be much much more. She’s still so young and healthy and we’re not ready to have to make a decision between money and her life. I’m sure I’m not the only one that’s been hit hard by the pandemic but anything helps, thank you.
