Two weeks ago my truck was stolen. I was parked by my house in Midcity, close to the bayou. Thieves broke in at 2 am, and made off with my livelihood. As y'all know I am the Secretary of Transportation, and I earn my living behind the wheel. 

I currently make my living ferrying the old, the young, and the party inclined to where they need to go. I make shopping runs for Pagoda Cafe. I move people and things from one place to another. I know the streets of New Orleans like the back of my hand, and I am good at what I do. 

I can't do most of the other kinds of work I have done in the past, because of physical limitations, so driving is how I survive. 

Please help me get back on the road. My insurance does not cover this theft, and I no longer have hope that my car will be recovered. Many of y'all will remember that my car was stolen once before, four years ago, and you all helped me get back on my feet after that loss. They say lightning doesn't strike twice, but apparently thieves do. 

Thank you for giving what you can. I am need of your help. Every little bit helps get me closer to driving again, and closer to having me at your service.
