Right to abode application denied, need help

Hi there, my name is Eva Nicky Brett and my boyfriend is called Nicolas Aranda López. Both of us were born in the UK, we both have National insurance numbers, birth certificates, we have worked and lived there our entire lives, been to school, you name it.

We booked a 3 day holiday to Milan, crossed the border and checked out of England, with my English passport and Nico’s columbian passport, with intent to return on our return flights. We get to border control, and get all the way to the gate, and they turned him (us) away.

We have since then spent everyday and night figuring out a way to return. We spent countless hours on the phone to the British embassy, which was almost completely pointless until one helpful advisor pointed us in the direction of “the right to adobe” scheme. We have tried to gain his Spanish passport in which he can receive, as his father and grandfather are Spanish, by coming to Spain, however that didn’t work as he had to renew it from the embassy he first received it from, which was the British one.

With no ability to earn money abroad, and a fast depleting income, we are closely becoming trapped, in fact we are. This is an emergency and soon we will be sleeping on the streets with no money for accommodation.

His right to abode application has been denied and so we’re waiting for his passport to return, which can take 10 days as long as e everything goes well on its return. 

Our next steps are to apply for a British standard Visa costing 115, and takes 3 weeks to process to the hopefully get a way to travel back to the Uk and try apply within for his British passport, along with a return flight to Columbia. 

It had already cost 750 for the application for the right to adobe and now buying food is even more difficult. We’re relying from the generosity of people.

We’re asking the public to help us fund the uncertain future, which hasn’t been easy to do as asking for help isn’t fun for us, yet help us eat and help us get away from staying on the streets in Spain.

THe donated funds will help us to stay for the next two weeks abroad, to eat and to fly home. This is an emergency, every hour gets us closer to being on the streets. We really need your help.
