And the hits keep coming. I lost my house and found an apartment. I finally got a good job that I enjoy. I'm trying to get back on track with my finances and paying bills, but my car has other ideas.

My brakes went out while driving last week. On Sunday, my alternator, battery, and serpentine belt quit working.

I don't have the money to fix my car and pay rent, much less my regular bills.

I am behind on rent now due to getting my brakes fixed and facing eviction.

If I can make it for the next 3 paychecks, I should be okay. I just need to get over this hump.
