Getting back on Track - Driveway Course Repairs

Hey y'all, it's the Driveway Series here. You know, the most well-attended weekly criterium race in the country?

For over two decades, Austin cyclists have been racing at a little piece of heaven just east of downtown. Since its inception, the Driveway has been run on a privately maintained track. That changed in 2022 when the track was sold as part of the Prop B. initiative.

While we have been graciously allowed to continue racing on the property under the current landowners, we have also been tasked with maintaining the track. In 2023 the track was in dire need of crack repair and sealing to preserve its integrity and ensure safe race conditions for our community. In addition to track repairs, we've also been tasked with maintaining a clean course for the participants. This includes purchasing equipment to keep the track free of debris, and additional landscaping costs to keep nature off the course!

We've already paid $15,000 to keep the track maintained for this season. All proceeds will go to covering this track bill and on-going maintenance.

We firmly believe that we have the best track in the country, with a bike racing scene that truly doesn't exist anywhere else in the country. We're determined to solidify our place at the track once it becomes a city park.
