The sound of a smoke alarm in the unit above might have saved my brother's life tonight, his quick thinking saved his 2 beloved cat as he ran out of the burning building. Fire fighters showed up and started tearing down the building so the fire wouldn't spread.
Absolutely everything they owned, GONE.
The Red Cross managed to set them up in a hotel for 3 days
After 3 days, they will have to figure it out.
We are, as a family, helping them out as much as we can. However we are reaching out to friends and community members in hopes to help them get back on their feet.
